As a technical draftsman for yacht Interiors, you’ll play a key role in bringing custom yacht designs to life. Your expertise in technical drawing and precision will help transform concepts into detailed, workable plans that are both functional and innovative. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced craftsmen and designers, ensuring that every interior detail meets the highest standards of quality and design.
Key responsibilities
- Create precise 2D and 3D technical drawings of yacht interior designs
- Collaborate closely with the design team to refine concepts and turn them into practical, manufacturable plans
- Work with the production team to ensure designs are implemented accurately during construction
- Prepare technical documentation, including materials lists, construction details, and assembly instructions
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and comply with yacht building regulations
- Support project management with updates and revisions to drawings as needed
What we’re looking for
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar)
- Experience in yacht interiors or luxury design projects
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills, both within a team and with clients
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
